Something Old, Something New

A couple of interesting finds to report.

First of all, among these videos www.youtube.com/user/MissDaphn… by YouTube user “MissDaphnia” from a few years ago, are several featuring an armless woman named Malgorzata Pauspert. They seem like parts of an unfinished movie drama, perhaps put together as exercises in editing. While there is a soundtrack, there is no dialogue. The plot, such as it is, seems to revolve around the interaction between this woman and her boyfriend. While he is able-bodied, he seems to harbour secret fantasies about it might be like to be disabled like her. In one scene, she comes across him acting out one of these fantasies, much to his embarrassment, and her disapproval.

More recently, a young Serbian woman named Leana www.youtube.com/user/FedPoro/v… has joined YouTube just within the last few months. Besides being born without arms, what makes her unique is that she is an expert video gamer. It seems she regularly runs into fellow gamers who cannot believe that a girl can play as skilfully as she does with her feet. And she is a fast typist too.
